Life Yoga Studio’s Yoga Teacher Training Program is a comprehensive 200 hour, Yoga Alliance Certified course to help you plunge into Yoga as a way of life and to teach you the methodology you need to assist and teach others through their journey as Yogi’s. While experience in yoga is great, our program is designed to educate you from the ground up and is even open to aspiring Yogi’s who have never stepped foot into a yoga class or on a yoga mat. The best asset you bring is an open heart and open mind. Life Yoga Studio’s faculty members of the YTT are highly trained, educated, experienced and meet the high standards of our prestigious Yoga Teacher Training Program. Our program is kept intimate with a maximum of 12 student per training with 1-2 faculty members per class. This allows for personal attention, a sense of security and will build confidence and growth as a Yoga Instructor and Yogi.
Many students of Yoga Teacher Training come with the intention to thoroughly educate themselves on all branches of Yoga to improve their practice as well as their quality of life, not necessarily to become teachers. We welcome all paths and we are here to help you on your way. We are confident that by the end of our program, you will be the best version of yourself and you will be a valued member of the worldwide Yoga movement!
Being a Yoga Instructor is a spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially rewarding career. Like any career, you are what you make yourself and how determined you are for success in these areas. You pick your own hours and aren’t confined to the 9-5 lifestyle which leaves many of us sore, stressed and lacking purpose. You are an entrepreneur which allows more freedom for what matters most. Family, friends and living a wonderful life. You watch yourself grow and gain experiences through different glasses. Watching your students evolve and enrich their body and mind is very rewarding and you will be reminded daily why you are here. You have the potential to earn what you want by being creative and innovative. The possibilities are endless and Life Yoga Studio’s Yoga Teacher Training will send you into the world with the tools you need to achieve success.

Many teacher training programs cannot offer this because they have such a large student base that it would be difficult to accommodate. Since we keep our training intimate at a maximum of 10 students, we can guarantee that you will teach at least 3 classes at the studio, provided you complete the Teacher Training program and graduate. You will also be on our substitute teacher list and will have priority should a permanent instructor position become available. We are happy to have instructors that follow our philosophy!
Yes you do. We encourage a ton of practice and a minimum of 25 hours of studio classes are part of the courses requirements. We encourage you to attend 2-3 classes per week.
Yes they do. You will need to get a signature from the instructor to verify that you have practiced there the same way you would if you practiced at Life Yoga Studio.
Life happens. If you aren’t able to make a session, you can make up the appropriate number of hours by attending a workshop or getting private instruction from one of our faculty members to catch you up. We will work with you to find a solution. With the intimate nature of the course, we prefer you rest up and heal if you get sick to protect your fellow students.
When doing the Philosophy and Anatomy portions of the course, please bring some pencil crayons. You will need a decent sized notebook for taking notes throughout the course so pencils and pens are a must. You will need to bring your own mat. If you don’t have one, we sell great mats at the studio. Bring water, tea, snacks and pack a lunch if you like or you may grab something from a local establishment. We will advise you if any group members have allergies.
Of course! On Friday’s we break for 10 minutes and Saturday & Sundays there will be ½ hour lunch breaks and light breaks in between.
Dress comfortably! Wear your yoga gear, usually snug fitting clothes to prevent wardrobe malfunctions or you can securely tuck your shirt into your pants. Remember, yoga is a barefoot practice. Bring comfortable sweaters for downtime when we are not practicing. We have blankets and cushions you can snuggle up in during down time as well.
Any missed payment is subject to a $25 admin fee and needs to be made up. If there are 2 payments in arrears (2 missed payments in a row), you will be withdrawn from the course and no refund will be issued for any payments received and you will need to start over from the beginning.
