Alia, Owner of Life Yoga & Head Faculty of YTT
RYT 500
Alia earned her YTT Designation at the Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto. She is an advocate for Natural Healing. "My goal is to bring awareness to the natural health resources at our fingertips and to unveil much of the scrutiny surrounding natural health and herbs. Yoga is a powerful healing tool and especially when combined with other modalities, its benefits are magnified and you will quickly learn exactly what your body is capable of. I have one rule for clients working with me.... we must have fun, laugh at ourselves and enjoy the process together" Alia is lighthearted, dedicated to the community and has been the driving force (along with the instructors) behind Life Yoga Studio's reputation and success earning the studio multiple Diamond awards for Best Yoga Studio in Milton by Readers Choice & Milton Chamber of Commerce Best Business of 2022.
Emi, RYT 500, Studio Coordinator
Emi is a Yoga Alliance -Certified E-RYT500 instructor. After her own personal struggles, she found inner peach through power yoga. She was a student under the ultimate yogis, Travis Elliot, and Lauren Eckstrom, whom she obtained her certification through. In time, her personal practice changed, and she started to be more interested in meditation and the pursuit of all things yoga. Emi is known for her authentic, non judgmental teaching style. Her classes combine creative sequencing and a focus on safe alignment. With her holistic yoga flow, she combines the power and peacefulness, of yoga together. Emi is always a student first and a teacher second. She's versed in Yoga therapy for depression and is currently looking forward to deepening her knowledge on sequencing and yin yoga.
Leah, Customer Support Specialist
Leah is the friendly face behind your inquiries and messages. She has a passion for assisting new students in getting their feet wet in the wonderful world of wellness through Yoga & Pilates. Leah also runs workshops and trainings at the studio with over 20 years of experience. Leah is an experienced Energy Intuitive and Empath, known for her intuition and comforting presence. She began as a Reiki Master and has expanded her healing practice using frequency, vibration, and Source Energy for chakra balancing and DNA Activations. A paranormal investigator and mentor, her credentials include Reiki Master, Shaman, Hypnotherapist, and Akashic Records Attuned.
Janina, Lead Trainer YTT, RYT200, Prenatal & Trauma Yoga Certified
Over ten years ago, Janina turned to practice yoga as a way to relax and have some downtime from looking after her two very active young children. Just one downward-facing dog posture (asana), she was captivated by the calmness and inner peace she found in herself. After that first yoga class, she realized teaching of yoga was her calling in life. One of her favourite aspect of practicing yoga is the amazing transformation and healing that take place both physically and emotionally. An emphasis on listening to your body, respecting your limits, without judgement and meeting personal expectations is a common thread throughout her class. The main focus of her teaching is the breath, proper alignment, and honouring the body. She believes that the power of kindness is indispensable for the well being of everyone. Janina suffers from Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Janina completed in April 2018 Pain and The Stretch Reflex with Nicole Ablack-Ramkay (Toronto) and in the fall 2016, the 20 hrs Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training: Healing your Heroes by Healing Heroes Project in Oakville, Canada. Janina has studied as well with other noted yogis: Daniel Rama summer 2016, Brad Waites, summer 2015. Rodney and Colleen Yee, Cindy Lee, Leslie Kaminoff, Jason Crandell, Yasmin Gow, J. Miller, Maria Garre, Doug Swenson, Natasha Rizopoulos, Lisa Black, Michelle Cormack, Todd Norian and Ann Green at the Toronto Yoga Conference. In 2009 she attended the Pre and Post Natal Yoga Training Programme at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto.
Nghin Clark, RYT 200 & Head of Kids Programs
Nghin began her yoga journey over a decade ago, seeking solace amidst the demands of a busy life. Despite taking a hiatus to raise her young family, the calling to come back to her practice was undeniable. Upon the realization that she needed something more for herself she completed the Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program at Life Yoga Studio, where she discovered her passion for healing and self care through yoga. After graduating, her learning journey did not stop, specializing in Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga and a Reiki Level II Certification. Committed to sharing the transformative power of yoga to young minds, Nghin is devoted to teaching children through relatable methods, fostering their understanding of the profound benefits of asana, breathwork, mindfulness, and self-compassion. You'll find connection in every yoga class, whether it is with yourself or bonding within families.
Andrea, RYT200, Reiki I & II
Hi, I’m Andrea! I’m a mom to two young kids and our family lives a healthy life through clean eating and outdoor living. I was introduced to yoga several years ago when I was doing a lot of long-distance running to help me stretch and strengthen with the goal of preventing injuries. Health and wellness have always been an important part of my life and I quickly saw the benefits of regular yoga practice. I decided to take my Yoga Teacher Training to deepen my practice and take it to the classroom, as I have been an elementary school teacher for over 15 years and teaching is a real passion of mine. I completed my Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour training (RYT200) with Life Yoga Studio and am registered with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a Reiki Level 2 practitioner so am able to offer energy healing alongside my yoga classes. I look forward to sharing my learnings within the wellness space.
Caren, RYT200
Caren decided to become a certified yoga teacher (200 RYT) to help people nourish themselves (mind, body and spirit) and gain a better understanding of herself. She teaches classes in a safe, focused and caring manner. Caren cares about helping her students breathe slowly, move mindfully and celebrate what they can do. Caren encourages her students to be kind to themselves on the mat and spread joy to others when they’re off the mat. She does yoga and meditation on a regular basis stay present, grounded and grateful. She is passionate about health, fitness and nutrition. In her spare time, Caren loves embracing nature with her mini black labradoodle dog Misty, staying physically active, doing crossword puzzles and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Karusia, Lead Trainer YTT, RYT 700
Karusia Nirmala Wroblewski is a life-long yoga practitioner and dancer who has been sharing movement and transformational arts for people of all ages and abilities for over 25 years. She was initiated into the inner practices of Classical Ashtanga Yoga through her guru Baba Hari Dass in 1998. She believes that the seed of yoga sprouts up uniquely in each individual; and so she custom-blends asana with functional anatomy, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, philosophy, devotion, expressive movement, qigong and sound-work to suit individual needs and to cultivate joy. Karusia Nirmala has written curriculum for many 200 and 500 hour YTT programs throughout southern Ontario and is known for her engaging manner of making traditional yogic teachings accessible to the contemporary western mind and body. She has a personal passion for the art and science of pranayama, taming the movements of the body and the mind, and for spending as much time as possible practising with and listening to horses.
Steph, RYT 200
Stephanie Attard is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher and a graduate from Life Yoga Studio's Yoga Teacher Training. Her yoga journey began in 2019. After her first Ashtanga class, she was inspired to devote herself to a regular vinyasa practice with her teacher/ mentor. Health, Fitness and Wellness have been woven into Stephanie’s life since she began working out at age 15 and teaching aerobics classes between ages 17-19. Stephanie is also a Somatic Breathwork Facilitator and Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Her knowledge, guidance, and compassion are integral tenants of her teaching style. Monica, RYT 200
Monica tried her first yoga class in 2007 and was delighted to discover a workout she actually enjoyed. Over the years she returned to the mat again and again for exercise, pain relief, and stress management. She loved learning more about yoga and trying out new styles. After several years in a busy office environment working as a corporate trainer, Monica chose to step away and focus more on her physical and mental health. This was when she renewed her commitment to yoga and enrolled in yoga teacher training. She decided to become an instructor so that she could use her training skills to share the benefits of yoga with others. Monica favours a moderate approach to yoga and not over-stressing the body. She believes that with time and patience, a gentle yoga practice can improve strength, flexibility, and mental resilience. Passionate about clean and natural living, Monica can often be found at the farmers market, whipping up something healthy in the kitchen, enjoying an autumn hike, or smelling spring flowers.
Denise, RYT 200
Denise is a dedicated yogi with over 10 yrs of personal practice. A registered RYT 200 Yoga Alliance teacher with a love for nature and hiking. Her journey with yoga began when she embraced yoga and meditation as a means to guide her during challenging times in her life. Motivated by her own transformative experiences, Denise embarked on the path of teaching to share the gift of mindfulness and balance. She invites students to connect with their inner selves and awareness while embracing the beauty of the world around.
Janet, Certified Pilates Instructor
I was a stay at home mom to 3 beautiful girls for over 20 years. Just prior to my 50th birthday, I discovered Pilates and it changed my life. I love Pilates for the wide-ranging, full body physical benefits, but it’s the mind-body connection that I couldn’t find anywhere else that was so transformative for me. I’m a Stott certified mat and reformer instructor, and I look forward to guiding, empowering and inspiring you along your Pilates journey.

Kristen is a mom of 3 living in Milton, a leading Nutrition, MindBody & Holistic Lifestyle expert who carries 3 decades in the wellness industry. She has been teaching in the Fitness, Yoga & Pilates industry for 30 years. As a Health Speaker, Holistic Nutritionist & Natural Health Practitioner for the past 17 years she is driven by her passion to redefine the aging process while equipping women with simple foundational tools to age gracefully full of energy & vitality. Kristen has been known for leaving her keynotes, movement & health sessions feeling inspired, strong & an “I can do it” attitude.
Dhruvi, Certified Pilates Instructor
I discovered Pilates after a serious injury left me immobile for five months. The journey to recovery introduced me to the transformative power of Pilates, and I quickly fell in love with how strong it made me feel—both mentally and physically. Knowing I wanted to bring that same empowering experience to others, I pursued a path as a Pilates instructor. I've done my Mat and Reformer Pilates training through Body Harmonics. I’m passionate about helping people unlock their potential, guiding them to build strength, resilience, and confidence through mindful movement.

Hi my name is Blair I’ve been a yoga teacher for over the past almost decade teaching a variety of formats. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of different yoga teacher and Pilates instructors. Over the years, I developed a love for Pilates and decided to become trained in different forms of Pilates and continue to take courses to become even better. I believe in creating an experience that meets everyone needs regardless of private or group classes. I’m known for being personable, I modify to make things easier/or harder, I’tm very anatomy trained so we can focus on YOUR body and how it works, and I cue so precisely that my classes are accessible to all levels. My class’s are designed to make everyone feel safe and welcome but you’ll walk away feeling that Pilates burn! Look forward to meeting you all!
