Like many, I began my fitness journey at a traditional gym, lured by the promise of a one-stop-shop for all things fitness. Yoga not only sculpted my body, giving me long, lean muscles, but it also kept me in the fat-burning zone, a sweet spot for fitness. Complementing my yoga practice with regular walking outdoors, I stumbled upon the perfect recipe for physical and mental well-being. Unlike the gym, which sometimes spiked my cortisol levels due to the stress in my life, getting fit with yoga brought a sense of calm and control.


The most profound discovery, however, was yoga's impact on my mental health. The gym, with its isolated headphone-wearing patrons, was no match for the supportive community I found in yoga.
